Our rack system is fully compatible with everything from shortboards to longboards. To transport your gear safely, simply equip each crossbar with a surfboard pad and secure your boards using surfboard straps.

Our rack system is fully compatible with kayaks of all sizes. For transport, you can secure your kayak directly to the crossbars using surfboard pads and straps or by utilizing a dedicated kayak carrier mount. Because there are numerous mounting accessories on the market, please verify that the hole pattern or mounting hardware of your chosen accessory is compatible with our crossbar rail slots. Vapor Racks is currently engineering a new line of dedicated kayak mounting accessories. These specialized solutions are currently in development and will be available for purchase once testing is complete.

Vapor Racks offer versatility far beyond action sports. The integrated slotted rails serve as a high-performance interior storage solution, allowing for overhead mounting of delicate gear like fishing rods to keep them safe and organized. For utility tasks, you can add load stops to the exterior rails to securely transport ladders, lumber, and other oversized items from the hardware store with ease.
